Aimee Ward
Aimee Ward is a legal assistant at Scott Law Firm in Conroe, Texas. With her penchant for organization and eye for detail, she helps keep even the most complex personal injury case files collected and updated, so our clients’ cases are always ready to move forward. Our whole team can rest assured that the firm’s collective calendar will always be in order thanks to her.
After working in retail and customer service for many years, Aimee noticed how her husband’s work as a paralegal with the Harris County Child Protective Services Division made such a powerful impact on the lives of so many people. She was inspired to make a career change and set her sights on the legal field as well. Today, she is proud to be a legal assistant with Scott Law Firm and part of a team that shares her core values of helping people in need because it is both fulfilling and the right thing to do. Although she has not been with the firm for very long, she already has fond memories of helping clients through tough times by showing a blend of professionalism and compassion.
In one case that was early into her career with Scott Law Firm, Aimee helped manage a car accident claim for a client who was severely injured. She and a case manager visited the client at his hospital room, shortly after he was out of surgery, to show moral support and answer any questions that he had since the last time they spoke. It was such an important moment for Aimee because it showed her firsthand how their work could help people in more ways than one. The case eventually settled with a fair recovery for the severely injured client, so it made the whole situation feel even more special than it did before.
When working with our attorneys and other support staff on a case, Aimee always approaches things with determination, empathy, and an open mind. She uses honest and open communication, too, of course, whether working with a client or another member of the firm. Knowing that her employer genuinely cares about her and the trajectory of her legal career has also made a tremendous difference for her to be able to really dive into her work and always strive to do what’s best for our clients.
When she is not at work, Aimee often enjoys relaxing days at home with her husband and two cats. For Aimee, not much beats a quiet evening at home with a movie on, but she is always up for a day trip to visit somewhere new!
