Cinthia Hidalgo
Cinthia Hidalgo is a legal assistant at Scott Law Firm in Conroe, Texas. For many of our clients, she is the first friendly voice they speak to as she answers incoming calls and directs them to the right attorney, department, or team. It probably goes without saying that she is known for her naturally friendly demeanor, as well as her listening skills and organization. Throughout the day, Cinthia also helps handle a variety of administrative tasks and often assists paralegals with more legal-oriented tasks that could use another set of eyes on them.
Scott Law Firm has earned a reputation among peers and colleagues as a law firm that encourages working together and learning from one another while handling client cases. This collaborative spirit is what brought Cinthia to the firm in the first place. Not long after starting her role as a legal assistant, she grew to love just how much everyone at the firm shared her motivations to always help clients in need, sometimes by approaching casework through unexpected and clever ways. Knowing that she helped a case keep moving and stay away from avoidable delays means a lot to Cinthia.
One moment in her career that stands out for Cinthia is when she was able to lend an ear and heartfelt wishes to a caller who had been rudely rejected by several other law firms, possibly due to her disability. Although her case was not the right fit for Scott Law Firm, the woman still thanked Cinthia warmly for her kindness and willingness to listen to the details of her case. The situation spoke volumes of both Cinthia’s character and a core principle of the firm: help everyone you can, however you can, even if they aren’t a client.
Outside of work, Cinthia loves to spend time with her husband and their dog. She is an avid artist, too, so she likes to get creative with painting, making flower arrangements, home decoration, and even gardening, which can be surprisingly creative when you approach it with the right mindset. When she was younger, Cinthia played a lot of basketball, so today, she likes to watch a game (especially a Rockets match) with her husband.
