Melanee Rivera is the firm administrator of Scott Law Firm in Conroe, Texas. While every day brings new responsibilities and tasks for her to handle, she primarily focuses on accounting. She is among some of the veteran members of the law firm, having joined in 2016, only four months after the firm’s doors first opened. To say that she has extensive experience, insight, and knowledge about the inner workings of the law firm and client service is an understatement.
Anyone who knows Melanee can speak to her passion for helping other people. This passion is what made her realize that she wanted a career in the legal field. Seeing firsthand how her work and that of the other legal professionals at the firm continually reminds her of why she chose her career path so many years ago.
For her higher education, Melanee went to the University of Texas at Austin where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Houston. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
Melanee’s approach to her work is centered on compassion and empathy. Clients who speak with her are sure to feel understood, seen, heard, and cared for. With a high work ethic and integrity, everyone at the law office knows that they can trust her with tasks and support. She is also known for her enjoyment of staff events and get-togethers that help build team cohesion, such as birthday celebrations, Friday lunches, anniversary parties, and, of course, the annual client appreciation event.
In her free time, Melanee likes to relax outdoors with her husband and family. To really unwind, she loves to settle in for a good movie at home with her husband and cat. When on vacation, she prefers to travel somewhere new.
