Sunny Wang
Yongxia “Sunny” Wang is a bilingual attorney in Mandarin and English. Before practicing law in the United States, she earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees in law from Peking University (北京大学), followed by her LL.M. and J.S.D. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
While completing her doctoral studies, Sunny interned with the Fourth Court of Appeals of Texas, where she gained valuable insight into appellate practice and judicial decision-making. This experience deepened her understanding of the rule of law and further solidified her commitment to practicing law in the United States.
Prior to joining Scott Law Firm, Sunny worked at both a personal injury law firm and a defense law firm, where she conducted comprehensive legal research, developed case strategies, and drafted a wide range of pleadings and briefs that contributed to favorable rulings. In addition, Sunny previously served as a law professor in China and as a visiting professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law.
