Valeria Vazquez
Valeria Vazquez is a legal assistant at Scott Law Firm in Conroe, Texas. Her daily work has her assisting everyone in the law office, but she mostly works side by side with the paralegal teams. She facilitates communication between clients, attorneys, insurance providers, and other parties who are involved in the average personal injury case.
Ever since she was a child, Valeria wanted a career that allowed her to help people. The legal field offered her that career, and Scott Law Firm offered her a place to call her second home. When she received a scholarship from The Woodlands Bar Association for Future Lawyers, a member of the group introduced her to the firm and said that she would be the right fit there. For more than 2 years, she has learned from and stood with the attorneys and paralegals at the firm to provide reliable legal services to locals in need. In every case, Valeria knows that consistency is key, especially when a client is feeling quite overwhelmed by the stress of their situation.
Currently, Valeria is enrolled in a paralegal program and may even transition to the role of an attorney in the future if she decides that interests her the most. She also interned temporarily with an immigration attorney, which gave her further insight into casework and legal complexities. Using her experience and talents, she has been a part of many major victories for the firm’s clients. For example, in one case, she helped push an auto insurance company into agreeing to a settlement beyond the policy limits, including payment for the legal fees.
When not at the law firm, Valeria often volunteers her time at her church. To stay active, she likes to train for triathlons. Of course, nothing cheers her up like spending quality time with her family.
