Go see these people!!! I was injured on the job in January of this year pretty significantly. When I was able to return home after a long stay at the hospital and inpatient rehab, I started to think about what the future was going to look like. As everyone knows, workers comp is not the easiest thing to live with or even deal with. Luckily, workers comp hasn’t been an issue of mine. But what was an issue was the future. I’m employed full time at one place and part time at another. My part time job was one to “fluff” the bank account for extra expenses and taxes at the end of the year. Over time with the injury, I lost that job due to a technicality and wasn’t able to work anyhow. So I started calling law firms in the area. Big ones, small ones. I talked to 12 of them. The very first one that reached out was Scott Law Firm right down the road from the house. All the other law firms had told me I “had no case,” as it was indeed a complicated case. Eleven “no’s” I received. Pretty discouraging. Except that one little law firm in Conroe. When I went to the office for the initial meeting after a phone conversation, I was greeted by nothing but smiles as well as compassion for the time I’ve been experiencing while dealing with doctors, PT appointments and surgeries. They told me, “let’s take a look at what we can do.” I met with Lisett and Mr. Scott for over an hour as Mr. Scott explained what he did, where he looks, etc. to find his clients money in these injury claims. When I tell you they left no leaf unturned, they did EVERYTHING in their power to get me at least SOMETHING to cover that little bit that workers comp wasn’t able to cover. A few months later, a few phone calls, I had mentioned one little surgery. A card showed up in my mailbox 4 days later. If that doesn’t show you respect and compassion… idk what will. The professionalism, the emails, the phone calls, the way they make you feel welcomed and cared for is like none I’ve ever experienced before. They paid me out twice with what they were able to get. They FOUGHT for me. They got me much more than I was ever expecting. When I left their new office just now, they have a big bell hanging on the wall with a sign that reads “Mission Accomplished.” I rang that bell and we cheered. All smiles, clapping and hugs. But in the background, upstairs, around the corners, in other offices down the halls came cheering. Clappers. Bells. The entire office came to the foyer to cheer and celebrate with me. The love they have for their clients is next to no one I’ve ever experienced before. The customer service, the professionalism, the personal care; the way everyone makes you feel you’re the only one that matters. Thank you Patrick, Lisett, Daniela, Conchita, everyone for turning the most terrible situation in my life into a positive experience. Thank you Scott Law Firm.
